Top SchoolStefano Galiasso is a vice president and energy-tech investor with 11 years of experience building businesses at the intersection of climate, energy efficiency, and deep technology. Based in New York, he leads deal and portfolio activities at Energy Capital Ventures while advising multiple climate-tech startups as a board observer and guest lecturer at Booth and Berkeley. He has launched and scaled energy practices, driven multi-million dollar P&Ls, and combined hands-on product work—such as commercializing an AI prostate cancer diagnostic and an adaptive athletic training platform—with venture sourcing and diligence. Known for translating engineering rigor into go-to-market roadmaps, he brings a rare blend of mechanical engineering training and MBA-level strategy to early-stage commercialization. Quietly, he also codified high-volume deal-evaluation heuristics at a seed fund, evaluating 350+ opportunities and accelerating one investment from sourcing to close in eight weeks.
