Stella Yang
Summary
🤩
RockstarStella Yang is a software engineering analyst with seven years of hands-on experience building secure, production-ready systems, now contributing at Goldman Sachs in the Greater Seattle area. Her background blends competitive cybersecurity development—having built capture-the-flag tooling at Texas A&M’s Cybersecurity Center—with practical software engineering internships, including a summer at Salesforce. She has experience teaching computer science courses as a TA, which complements her ability to explain complex technical concepts and mentor peers. Stella’s work reflects a strong foundation in computer science from Texas A&M and a focus on security-conscious engineering practices. Notably, she brings both offensive security insight and enterprise engineering experience, a combination that helps bridge threat modeling with deployable software. Colleagues describe her as detail-oriented and curious, comfortable moving between low-level security tooling and large-scale application development.
