Senior🎓
Top SchoolStepan Rudenko is a seasoned engineering leader with 14 years of hands-on software experience and a decade-plus specialty in Android and mobile platforms, now serving as Director of Engineering for Europe & India at AgileEngine. He has a strong track record building and scaling cross-functional teams, owning PD processes, and delivering complex products across domains including medical software, banking solutions, IoT gateways, and consumer devices. A pragmatic architect and former tech lead, he’s shipped media SDKs, low-latency streaming, BLE-based IoT hubs, and optimized performance-critical apps down to sub-second startup and high frame rates on low-end devices. He combines deep mobile native expertise (Android NDK, OpenGL ES, performance profiling) with modern stacks like Kotlin and React Native, and practical CI/CD and cloud experience. Notably, he designed an Android-based IoT gateway that allowed seamless sensor handoffs between physical nodes—demonstrating both systems-level thinking and product-driven engineering. Based in Burlington, Ontario, he pairs certification as a ScrumMaster with a history of mentoring and building repeatable delivery processes across international teams.
