Senior🎓
Top SchoolStephan Bökelmann is a pragmatic engineering leader and COO with 11+ years building embedded measurement systems, PoE devices and bare‑metal instrumentation for physics and industrial customers. He combines hands‑on firmware and modern C++ on ARM with research in mixed‑signal silicon for particle detectors (HV‑MAPS) as a scientific staffer at Ruhr‑University Bochum and a member of the PANDA working group. As founder of multiple engineering firms and organizer of emBO++, he blends entrepreneurship, consultancy and teaching—translating messy operational data into actionable systems and tools. Comfortable toggling between lab prototyping and productionization, he’s equally at home debugging sensors, shaping R&D projects, or coaching students. Colleagues describe him as a versatile “jack of all trades” who makes complex measurement technology actually work in the real world.
