Senior🎓
Top SchoolStephanie Hare is a computational chemist and Drug Discovery Fellow with a decade of experience applying CADD, DFT, and ab initio molecular dynamics to unravel reaction mechanisms and advance therapeutic discovery. She combines deep academic training (PhD work on post-transition state bifurcations) with industry experience at Atomwise and D. E. Shaw Research, translating mechanistic insight into practical drug-discovery workflows. Her unique strength is blending dimensionality reduction and trajectory analysis in Python with high-accuracy quantum calculations to map complex reaction pathways. Based in New York, she excels at bridging mathematics and chemistry—having worked on interdisciplinary projects that pair algorithm development with chemical intuition—to accelerate identification of next-generation therapeutics.
