Summary
🤩
RockstarStephen Hobdell is a seasoned product and solution architect with over 17 years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise ecommerce and cloud transformation programs, currently leading cloud transformation product efforts at SAP Customer Experience. He blends deep Java/ATG/hybris technical expertise with pragmatic architecture and agile delivery practices, championing automation, code quality and cross-project reuse to reduce duplication and speed delivery. Stephen is equally comfortable in the trenches—debugging code or shaping APIs—and at the strategic level, influencing tool adoption, governance and program-level architecture. His background spans financial services, retail and media, and he brings a recruiter’s eye for team-building from frequent interviewing and leadership roles. Off-hours he balances software craft with outdoor pursuits, reflecting a practical “automate it so you don't have to again” ethos applied to both code and operations.
