Houston, Texas, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorSteve Bachmeier is an Engineering Program Manager with nine years’ experience and a nearly three-decade career background in R&D, quality, service and manufacturing for global electronics firms. He currently leads worldwide service program rollout for Foxconn, coordinating regional centers across Houston, Singapore, Czech Republic and China to translate customer requirements into executable project plans. His prior roles at HP, Compaq and Foxconn demonstrate a consistent focus on rapidly identifying product quality issues and mobilizing cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive corrective actions. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, he took time to explore travel and data science and now blends that analytical curiosity with hands-on program leadership as a software engineer at IHME. Based in Houston, he brings a pragmatic mix of operational rigor, supplier quality insight and a global perspective on service delivery. Notably, he pairs deep manufacturing lifecycle knowledge with recent software/data experience, enabling cross-domain problem solving.
