Top SchoolSteve Glover is a hands-on senior software engineer with 12 years of professional experience building scalable, production-grade systems across enterprise and telecom domains. He has driven server-side architecture and features at companies including IBM, Alfresco and Accanto, notably shaping a Spring Boot microservices-based NFV lifecycle manager and leading scalable content management, encryption-at-rest and desktop sync initiatives. Comfortable across distributed systems, messaging (ActiveMQ, Kafka), databases (Mongo, Cassandra) and cloud tooling, he pairs deep engineering craft with practical tooling for load testing, provisioning and benchmarking. A PhD-trained computer scientist based in Bracknell, he brings research-calibre rigor to pragmatic product delivery and performance profiling. Colleagues rely on him for reliable, defensible designs that scale in clustered, Kubernetes-driven environments. He often surfaces inventive prototypes—such as alternative persistence experiments and event-processing pipelines—that inform strategic platform choices.
