Top SchoolSteve Urciuoli is a seasoned founder and senior cloud architect with over 8 years of recent focused experience and a multi-decade engineering pedigree spanning startups, federal agencies, and enterprise clients. He founded Faxo, a consumer "Everything App" approaching one million installs, and previously led a profitable consulting firm serving Fortune 500 customers. Steve has architected and scaled mission-critical identity and search platforms—contributing to Login.gov and helping scale it from under a million to over 60 million users—while delivering large AWS, Elasticsearch, and big-data migrations for agencies like the GSA, CDC, and the National Archives. Technically versatile, he ships full-stack solutions using Ruby on Rails, Flutter/Dart, React, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and a broad AWS toolset, and has deep experience in performance tuning, security (including FIDO2), and identity proofing. He blends product-driven entrepreneurship with hands-on engineering, often rebuilding or cloning major web experiences at scale, and has a background in electrical engineering and computer science from Boston University. A less obvious strength: he combines startup agility with proven government-grade operational rigor, making him effective across both high-growth consumer products and highly regulated public-sector systems.
