Top SchoolSteven Benario is a senior product leader based in New York with 15+ years of experience building and scaling products across startups and large enterprises, currently leading a strategic product pillar for Xpanse in Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex business unit. He combines deep technical fluency from early roles at Microsoft and Windows UX work with modern ML-informed product practice, having led data science and ML product efforts at Tenable. Steven teaches analytics, AI, and ML for product managers at Northwestern Kellogg and runs hands-on workshops globally, translating complex technical concepts into actionable product decisions. He has a strong track record of turning customer feedback into measurable roadmaps—from Cloud Foundry and enterprise platforms to consumer-facing gaming and mobile apps—and has coached teams through shifts to outcome-oriented, product-led delivery. As an independent consultant and former Head of Product at Ufora, he’s skilled at distilling MVPs and reducing scope to validate hypotheses quickly, a habit reflected in his practical, metrics-driven approach. Outside of corporate roles he blends classroom instruction with frontline product coaching, signaling a rare mix of practitioner and educator.
