Top SchoolSteven Heffner is a software engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building full-stack web applications from Utah’s American Fork. He currently helps a small digital product studio, Ravn, turn product ideas into polished, user-focused apps, bringing a designer’s appreciation for delightful UX to engineering decisions. Steven’s background includes end-to-end projects—React/Redux front ends paired with Node/Express and PostgreSQL back ends—exemplified by a personal recipe and meal-planning app that integrates multiple external APIs to attach images and aggregate ingredients. He excels at practical problem solving and asynchronous promise orchestration, a skill showcased when mapping ingredients to API calls and producing reliable client-server workflows. Comfortable in team settings, he has experience coordinating daily sprints and merging complex group contributions from his DevMountain projects. Outside standard resumes, he blends business-oriented thinking from college studies with a developer’s craft to build feature-rich, user-centric products.
