Summary
🤩
RockstarSteven Hornbogen is a cloud-focused backend engineer and co-founder with six years of hands-on experience building Java-based services, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and Kubernetes-driven infrastructure. He combines software engineering and DevOps expertise—Terraform, vanilla K8s, GitHub Actions and Jenkins—to design scalable, production-ready systems and CI/CD pipelines. As Cloud Solutions Architect at HAV Media and a senior software engineer/partner at Askrella, he bridges technical leadership with entrepreneurial delivery. Comfortable across the stack including React/TypeScript front-ends, he’s known for turning legacy systems into cloud-native platforms and embedding infrastructure-as-code practices into product teams. An operator who both codes and shapes architecture, he brings a pragmatic focus on reliability, automation, and measurable delivery.
