Chief Technology Officer at Edisen
California, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorSteven Shen is a seasoned technology executive and CTO with over 15 years of hands-on experience delivering consumer and enterprise products spanning embedded devices, mobile apps, and full-stack web systems. Based in California, he has led engineering teams from early-stage consultancy through global product organizations, scaling organizations and shipping award-winning, high-performance distributed systems. At Edisen he combines creative production workflows with AI-driven content tooling, while prior roles saw him build set-top box firmware, Android products, and cellular handset software from the ground up. He’s comfortable toggling between executive strategy and individual contributor work, often diving into low-level firmware or API design when needed. His career includes founding an engineering consultancy and growing a US wireless software team from a handful of engineers to 100+, demonstrating both technical depth and operational leadership. Less obvious: he repeatedly bridges hardware and software domains, delivering market-ready products across emerging and developed markets.
