Senior🎓
Top SchoolStevie Howard is a software engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience who currently builds software at Microsoft and brings a practical, build-first mindset honed from earlier roles as a derrickhand, carpenter, and small-business tech admin. Comfortable shipping production systems and automations, Stevie pairs formal engineering training from the University of Victoria with real-world problem solving across construction, oilfield operations, and IT. He enjoys simplifying complex problems into reliable, maintainable solutions and brings mechanical intuition to software—often translating physical systems thinking into clearer architectures and tooling. Outside work he’s an avid snowboarder and mechanic, which fuels a pragmatic, safety-conscious approach to engineering and teamwork.
