Top SchoolStuart Golodetz is a Senior Software Engineer and computer vision specialist with 16 years' experience building research-driven systems in C++, Python, C# and Java, currently applying R&D to multi-view stereo, 3D scene segmentation and multi-object tracking at Visionary Machines. He combines deep academic roots—a DPhil from Oxford and multiple postdoctoral roles—with leadership experience running research teams for autonomous driving at FiveAI and lecturing across computer graphics, networks and IoT. Stuart has a practical bent for cross-platform development (CMake), games programming and engineering craftsmanship, and has shipped performant vision code including CUDA-accelerated trackers and real-time detectors. An occasional ACCU author and prolific reader of research literature, he is as comfortable writing journal papers as he is implementing production-quality systems. Colleagues describe him as driven by clean architecture and tangible results, with a particular interest in camera relocalisation and SLAM that bridges theory and deployable solutions.
