Senior🎓
Top SchoolSuraj Gautam is a Civil Engineer (EIT) with nine years of hands-on experience bridging structural design, transportation projects, and construction fieldwork. He has delivered detailed structural and site drawings using AutoCAD, Civil3D, ETABS, and STAAD Pro while ensuring regulatory compliance across PA and OH projects. His NSF-funded graduate research on concrete durability complements practical experience overseeing highway, bridge, and building construction, giving him a durability-minded approach to design and inspection. At The Crossroads Group he translated complex site constraints into buildable plans for telecom and land development, and in roadway roles he handled quality assurance and contractor negotiations. Based in Chester, West Virginia, Suraj is seeking structural engineering roles where he can apply both research insights and on-site project management to create safer, longer-lasting infrastructure. A less obvious strength is his track record of moving between lab-scale materials research and real-world construction logistics, enabling pragmatic, evidence-based decisions on durability and safety.
