Senior🎓
Top SchoolSuyash Soni is a pragmatic software engineer with over a decade of experience building scalable backend systems for SaaS and product startups, currently working on fintech partner payments at Booking Holdings in Bengaluru. He has repeatedly driven performance and cost improvements—e.g., reducing Java threads from 3K to 500 and migrating IVR from Twilio to an internal telephony stack—while owning complex real-time customer interaction platforms. Skilled across Java, Python, Kafka, Cassandra, Redis and cloud architectures, he has led Kafka and Cassandra migrations, built in-house tooling for schema/version management and data consistency, and delivered event-driven microservices and notification engines. Comfortable across the stack, he pairs systems-level optimisation with product-facing features like decision trees and automated dialers that improve agent workflows. His history shows a pattern of turning operational pain points into durable infrastructure and developer-facing utilities, including an open-source SQLAlchemy JSON querybuilder utility.
