Top SchoolSydney Ellis is an adaptable communications and civic engagement professional based in New York with eight years of hands-on experience across public relations, community outreach, and service roles. Currently interning with the NYC Campaign Finance Board, she develops accessible language strategies to engage non-English speaking voters and applies accessibility best practices to community events. Her background spans content creation and digital marketing—publishing articles on WordPress, designing social media assets, and driving engagement for a cultural magazine—alongside frontline customer-facing roles in hospitality and elections. Comfortable in multilingual environments, she has repeatedly supported Spanish-speaking communities and managed multi-currency transactions during fast-paced service shifts. A Fordham undergraduate on scholarship, Sydney blends practical civic experience with a knack for clear, audience-centered communication and an uncommon mix of grassroots election work and digital content production.
