Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolSylvain Slaton is a Senior Software Engineer and technical leader based in Seattle with over a decade of experience building full‑stack, cloud‑native web applications and distributed systems. He blends hands‑on engineering in C#, .NET Core, Java and AWS with a disciplined focus on architecture, CI/CD and maintainable design, often asking “This is good, but can we make it even better?” Sylvain has led teams and managed engineers at scale—running a 12‑engineer delivery organization at Capital One and now contributing to engineering at GitHub—while keeping an engineer‑first emphasis on mentorship and best practices. Comfortable across microservices, REST APIs, containers and infrastructure-as-code, he combines pragmatic problem solving with thoughtful system design. A valedictorian turned mentor, he brings a rare mix of academic rigor and production-hardened delivery to every project.
