Top SchoolTamara Jordan is a Senior Software Engineer based in London with nine years of hands-on experience building customer-focused backend systems and scalable web applications. She has a strong track record at companies like Springer Nature and Teya, where she boosted onboarding throughput via concurrency and horizontal scaling and established integration and acceptance testing to accelerate safe deployments. Comfortable across the stack, Tamara has delivered APIs that enabled rapid merchant rollouts to thousands of terminals, bootstrapped observability libraries for Go projects, and migrated legacy Java systems while optimizing complex SQL queries. Earlier roles in fintech, insurance, and support gave her deep operational empathy and a knack for automating repetitive tasks. She mentors colleagues, gives lightning talks, and consistently turns complex problems into pragmatic, low-risk implementations. Notably, she pairs production-focused engineering with infrastructure-as-code and observability practices to improve both developer velocity and customer experience.
