Top SchoolTamas Demjen is a Staff Software Engineer with over two decades of experience specializing in PDF and document image processing, leading Intelligent Document Processing development at Apryse. He architects and maintains multi-language SDKs (C++, C#, Java, Python, PHP, NodeJS) and cross-platform rendering, extraction and forms solutions for Windows, Linux, and macOS. His background includes building robust layout analysis and conversion pipelines that turn untagged, fixed-position PDFs into Word/Excel/HTML, plus low-level raster and OCR systems for high-throughput scanning. Comfortable across C++11, C#, JavaScript and Python, he also brings practical expertise in font technologies, ICC color management and virtual printer drivers—skills that surface in his work on PDF/A and PDF/X outputs. Based in San Jose, he blends deep systems-level engineering with applied computer vision and machine learning study, enabling pragmatic innovations in document semantics and extraction.
