Top SchoolTang Zhang is a Staff Software Engineer in Palo Alto with eight years of full-stack experience building reliable, user-focused systems at scale, currently shaping core booking and PDP architectures at Airbnb. He blends product sensitivity and design awareness with deep technical leadership—owning services like Listing Cards, driving a two-year plan to simplify pricing quote models, and modernizing server-driven UI infrastructure. His background spans high-traffic consumer platforms (Airbnb, Tumblr, Yahoo) and research-driven civic tech at Stanford, showing a knack for turning algorithmic ideas into production features. Known as a quality champion, he creates release processes and incident reviews that measurably improve reliability and developer velocity.
