Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolTanja Vrščaj is a versatile engineer with two years of formal experience in support and several prior years building data and analytics systems across European fintech and adtech firms. She has designed and productionized distributed event-driven architectures, serverless APIs, and row-level security in PostgreSQL, and has hands-on experience with Kafka, dbt, Airflow, OpenShift and AWS serverless stacks. Her background spans both data engineering and full-stack components—from machine learning pipelines and ETL to React front-end features—enabling her to bridge analytics and product needs effectively. At Reciprocity she built a Debezium-driven event system and secure Postgraphile APIs; earlier roles saw her cut model deployment time dramatically and migrate legacy ETL to cost-efficient cloud designs. Now at Elastic as a Support Engineer, she combines deep systems knowledge with customer-facing problem solving, making her especially strong at diagnosing production issues across the stack. She holds an M.Sc. in Information and Communication Systems and brings a practical research mindset from university research and teaching experience.
