Senior🎓
Top SchoolTanmay Mittal is a Senior Software Engineer with ~8 years of industry experience and a product-first engineering mindset, currently building backend systems at GetYourGuide from Berlin. He has deep hands-on experience scaling startup infrastructure—at Headout he reduced API origin response time by ~81%, standardized non-blocking Redis caching across microservices, and led end-to-end backend systems for UGC and template-driven rendering to improve SEO, engagement, and operational flexibility. Comfortable across acquisition, discovery, and post-purchase verticals, he has a track record of turning complex requirements into reusable tooling that reduces manual work and legal exposure (e.g., centralized media management). An IIIT Allahabad alumnus who started with supply integrations and CI/CD improvements, Tanmay blends pragmatic engineering with product impact and enjoys exploring new tech and travel in his spare time.
