Summary
👤
SeniorTawan Wattana is a backend engineer with over a decade of software experience and 7+ years focused on delivering robust, production-grade systems across fintech, investment data, and smart home domains. He has a track record of replacing costly third‑party systems with in‑house Rust solutions—saving millions in annual costs and hundreds of man‑days—while building complex decisioning and loan management pipelines. At AVA he engineered a scalable investment data pipeline and observability stack, and at Code App he led efforts that turned legacy platforms into faster, revenue‑generating subscription and smart‑device ecosystems. Comfortable across cloud infrastructure (AWS/EKS/RDS/IAM), Pulumi, GraphQL and high test coverage practices, he blends pragmatic engineering with product thinking to optimize both performance and business outcomes. Based in Thailand, he’s driven by building efficient systems that reduce operational burden and unlock measurable value.
