Top SchoolTerry Li is an AI and data science leader with nine years’ experience building production-grade ML and GenAI systems in highly regulated banking environments. As founder of the Data Science function at China CITIC Bank International, he delivered the bank’s first production AML model and first GenAI agent-assist, achieving measurable operational impact (4× faster AML detection; search time cut from 2 minutes to 20 seconds) while passing audits with zero findings. His background in internal and IT audit (DBS, PwC) and certifications in risk and audit enable him to design governance into solutions from day one and to engage regulators as a peer—evidenced by leading his bank into HKMA’s inaugural GenAI Sandbox. He combines hands-on ML engineering (Udacity ML Nanodegree) with stakeholder orchestration, turning experiments into compliant, scalable products. Based in Hong Kong, he is open to roles that move financial institutions from AI experimentation to measurable, auditable business impact.
