Senior🎓
Top SchoolThanos Tsakiridis is a Principal Frontend Engineer and seasoned Android specialist with over nine years of experience building high-performance, user-focused mobile and TV applications from monoliths to modular architectures. He has a proven track record leading teams through major platform and tooling migrations—Java to Kotlin, RxJava to Coroutines, MVP to MVVM—and driving adoption of Jetpack Compose and multi-module architectures to improve maintainability and release cadence. At Asana Rebel and Zattoo he combined hands-on Kotlin development with team leadership to raise crash-free sessions and deliver operator-grade Android TV launchers for set-top boxes. Based in Berlin, he pairs a physics and applied informatics background with a pragmatic, detail-oriented coding style and a passion for continuous learning, which shows in his breadth across streaming, billing, location services and architecture-level decisions. Unobvious strength: he balances shipping product-focused weekly releases with deep technical stewardship, ensuring both velocity and long-term code health.
