Top SchoolThiago De Oliveira is a computer scientist and Professor Adjunto at UFJ with 11 years of professional experience and a PhD in distributed processing of spatial data. He combines academic leadership—having directed ICET and coordinated computer science programs—with hands-on R&D in compilers, algorithms for spatial data, and compiler-assisted optimization for AI workloads. His background spans building distributed GIS processing platforms, ERP systems for agribusiness, and BI tooling for production chains, giving him a rare blend of systems-level engineering and domain-driven product insight. Known for applying compiler design techniques to query engines and spatial optimization, he bridges research and production to speed up complex distributed systems. Based in Goiás, Brazil, he continues to publish and develop open projects focused on compilers, combinatorial optimization and scalable spatial algorithms.
