Senior🎓
Top SchoolThiago De Souza is a staff software engineer and technical lead with over 15 years of experience designing and modernizing large-scale backend and cloud systems, currently driving platforms that process 1.5–5 million electronic documents per day. He blends deep legacy knowledge (Delphi, C++, VRaptor) with modern stacks (Java/Spring Boot, Python/FastAPI, MongoDB, AWS/GCP, Terraform) and hands-on DevOps leadership building CI/CD and scalable infrastructure. His specialization in electronic invoicing and tax compliance is complemented by practical work in performance, modernization, and cross-team mentoring. Actively prototyping with LLMs, RAG and vector databases, he brings an experimental mindset to production systems. Unusually for an engineer, he completed law school coursework focused on Digital Law, giving him rare expertise in regulatory and compliance aspects of financial software. Based in Brazil, he pairs technical depth with multilingual communication and a history of evolving mission-critical fiscal platforms.
