Top SchoolThiago Diniz is a senior software engineer and founder with 13+ years building and scaling high-throughput SaaS and fintech platforms, currently engineering at Verve For Advertisers after leading Hent through YC and acquisition. As CTO and technical founder he designed Ruby on Rails–based banking infrastructure handling over BRL 30M/month and led post-acquisition integration work that preserved operational integrity for complex receivables workflows. He combines hands-on backend engineering (JRuby, Node.js, Postgres/MySQL) with product and growth discipline—using A/B testing and KPI-driven roadmaps to improve UX and retention. Thiago has a track record of modernizing legacy stacks, executing cross-team acquisitions with minimal disruption, and operating in regulated, high-data-integrity environments. Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, he pairs global business fluency with active community engagement and formal training from Y Combinator and a master’s in computer science. A practical technologist with entrepreneurial roots, he often bridges product, security and governance in fintech-grade systems.
