Top SchoolThomas Cohn is an EECS PhD candidate at MIT with a background in honors Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan and roughly nine years of experience in computing. Based in Cambridge, he blends rigorous theoretical training with applied research skills, focusing on computer science problems at a doctoral level. His trajectory suggests strength in mathematical foundations and long-term commitment to technical depth, rather than short-term product roles. While active on GitHub as an EECS student, his most notable asset is the combination of elite academic environments and sustained hands-on engineering experience. Colleagues can expect a researcher-engineer who frames practical systems questions through a formal, mathematical lens.
