Top SchoolThomas Junk is a pragmatic software engineer from Hasbergen, Germany with 11 years of experience building web and GIS applications and maintaining backend systems. He has led development on in-house frameworks and products—most recently a browser-based GIS app and the "ringo" framework at Intevation—while contributing to validation tooling for EU-funded programs. His background spans RESTful backends, Backbone.js UIs, Microsoft Dynamics CRM plugins, and infrastructure work with IIS and MSSQL, showing a full-stack comfort across older and modern stacks. Known for taking ownership of product ecosystems, he combines practical engineering with incremental framework evolution to keep systems maintainable and auditable.
