Top SchoolTiago Babo is a tech lead based in Porto with 14 years of experience building scalable web and backend systems across startups and research projects. He combines deep full-stack fluency—Ruby on Rails, Scala, Python, Java/C++ and cloud services—with hands-on leadership at Carwow and prior senior roles at Reedsy and Triggerise. Notable projects include architecting an in-house email platform handling ~2M emails/month and rewriting a core engine for multi-country mobile commerce platforms, plus SMS-based aid orchestration that processed millions of messages in pilot deployments. Comfortable bridging product and engineering, he pairs technical curiosity (exploring AutoML, NLP bots and NFC research) with strong project management and cross-cultural collaboration. His GitHub shows a steady practitioner mindset and a preference for pragmatic, production-ready solutions.
