Tikiri Wicks
Technical Architect - Data Governance - Global Business Process
Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
Summary
👤
SeniorTikiri Wicks is a Technical Architect and senior enterprise systems designer with nine years in leadership roles and two decades of hands-on software and systems engineering across ERP, EDI, cloud data warehouses and bespoke integration platforms. At Ingram Micro he leads data governance and transformation efforts harmonizing SAP and legacy ERP flows into cloud warehouses, and previously architected a B2B automation platform that processed nearly one million transactions annually and automated over 35% of regional B2B traffic. He combines deep integration experience (EDI, JMS, SAP WebServices) with practical incident leadership and performance engineering—skills honed on high-throughput Tandem and frame-relay systems as well as modern cloud stacks. A serial founder and longtime R&D director, he blends entrepreneurial product instincts with rigorous architecture discipline, often delivering custom data transport, real-time collaboration and scaling innovations. Not obvious from titles: he repeatedly builds bespoke tooling (socket pooling, RPC/data compression layers, and auto-scaling transport) to solve latency and throughput limits rather than buying third-party solutions. Based in Auckland, he focuses on turning complex cross-system data challenges into auditable, governed pipelines.
