Senior🎓
Top SchoolTim Burr is a veteran software entrepreneur and founder/CEO who has grown Scopic into a 280-person global software and digital marketing firm delivering 1,000+ projects since 2006. He blends deep technical roots—MS in Computer Science and two decades-plus of hands-on engineering and architecture across computer vision, graphics, and simulation—with business leadership in SaaS, healthcare, finance, and e-commerce. Prior to Scopic he architected complex image-based modeling systems and led engineering teams at companies like Mok3 and Geomagic, bringing an algorithmic, component-based approach to product design. He is comfortable scaling distributed teams and managing offshore integrations while maintaining a rigorous 4-step delivery methodology focused on measurable business outcomes. Based in Rutland, Massachusetts, he balances product-level vision with low-level technical fluency as an educator, entrepreneur, and full‑stack developer in the US Mountain West. A practical innovator, he has repeatedly turned niche technical capabilities (e.g., 3D imaging and vision pipelines) into commercial products and long-term client partnerships.
