Top SchoolTim Little is a Senior Systems Development Engineer with 12 years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, and systems operations, currently driving reliability at AWS from the Greater Oxford Area. He has a strong track record reducing toil and accelerating delivery—having cut deployment times by 95% and server build times by 90% at previous roles—while implementing SLOs, incident management, and cloud-native platforms. Skilled across AWS and GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Elasticsearch and IaC, Tim blends software development (Golang, Python, Bash) with infrastructure engineering to automate complex workflows. He has led teams through ISO27001 compliance, data centre migrations, and cloud migrations, pairing operational rigor with pragmatic process design. Colleagues describe him as a problem-solver who prefers building internal tools to eliminate repetitive work and raise platform resilience. Outside of core duties he’s quietly invested in mentoring engineers and embedding SRE practices across organisations.
