Top SchoolTim Schwecke is a seasoned lead engineer with over 17 years building high-volume, highly scalable web applications focused on education technology. He combines full-stack expertise—React front ends, Go and C# back ends, and cloud-backed datastores—with a pragmatic mindset that prioritizes shipping on aggressive timelines while minimizing technical debt. Tim has led teams through large rewrites and rapid launches, including platforms that supported millions of users and tens of thousands of concurrent sessions, and built reusable RESTful services that scaled to millions of daily hits. At Crafted Education/InScribe he iterates quickly with customers to deliver context-specific learning interventions, and as a consultant he translates educational goals into practical, production-ready systems. He’s comfortable operating independently or leading cross-functional teams, and created open-source tooling (Harvey) to simplify REST service testing—an indicator of his focus on developer productivity as well as product impact. Based in Castle Rock, Colorado, he pairs a mathematics and computer science background with a passion for improving how people connect with information.
