Senior🎓
Top SchoolTimo Westland is a Lead Frontend Engineer based in Amsterdam with over a decade of experience designing and delivering large-scale React applications and frontend architectures for enterprise clients. He combines hands-on implementation—setting up mono-repos, component libraries and self-service flows—with strategic leadership, having grown teams and guided technology choices across multi-team e-commerce and healthcare projects. His work emphasizes performance, accessibility and maintainable developer workflows using modern stacks (TypeScript, React/Remix, Turborepo, Playwright, etc.), and he has repeatedly turned outsourced projects into successful in-house platforms serving millions of users. Comfortable both bootstrapping projects from scratch and improving legacy systems, he’s known for pragmatic architecture decisions and for scaling teams and processes as much as code.
