Top SchoolTimothy Guenthner is a software engineer in Austin with 11 years of experience who transitioned from aerospace research to building cloud-native back-end systems. He specializes in migrating monolithic .NET services to microservices, modernizing stacks (.NET Core), and containerizing applications with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. At NICE he led efforts to prove and implement a containerized architecture and supported CI/CD pipelines; today he continues that work as a lead dev at Microsoft while occasionally serving as Scrum Master. His background in high-speed data acquisition, CFD, and embedded C gives him a practical systems-thinking perspective that informs robust, performance-conscious service design. Colleagues describe him as resourceful, collaborative across diverse teams, and focused on delivering quality on time. He brings engineering rigor from aerospace to distributed cloud systems, often bridging research-caliber analysis with production delivery.
