Summary
🤩
RockstarTobias Andersen is a Senior Platform Engineer based in Copenhagen with two decades of hands-on experience across system administration, networking, databases and machine learning, and a recent focus on cloud-native platform and SRE work. He builds and architects production platforms leveraging Kubernetes, Go, .NET and TypeScript, and has led platform initiatives and observability projects (Heimdall, Bifrost, Midgard) at large enterprises like Novo Nordisk and DFDS. As a seasoned freelance architect he’s contributed to blockchain L1 tooling (Cosmos-SDK, Tendermint), Terra Classic recovery efforts and production-grade services for financial players, showing comfort across both Web2 and DLT stacks. Tobias combines deep implementation skills with mentoring and developer enablement—authoring internal Dojos, Backstage components and templates to accelerate teams. He’s pragmatic about tooling choices, often blending Microsoft ecosystems with cloud-native patterns and open telemetry to deliver observable, maintainable systems. Outside day job titles he signs code and posts as “Cyber Penguin,” reflecting a playful hacker mindset that surfaces in his open-source and community work.
