Top SchoolTobias Block is a data-driven Director of Engineering with 11 years of experience building monetization products, AI-driven recommendation engines, and scalable data systems for large digital platforms. He has a strong track record at BrightTALK delivering multi-million dollar revenue growth—launching products that generated tens of millions in bookings, improving email engagement with AI automation, and moving on-prem data centers to AWS to improve data completeness. Tobias blends product management instincts with engineering leadership, having led cross-functional teams to ship recommendation feeds, ad-buying backends, and real-time campaign systems that served millions of users. A former journalist and content producer, he brings a user-centric storytelling lens to data products and a practical knack for turning messy datasets into business outcomes.
