Top SchoolToby Scales is a technology and security leader with over a decade of experience guiding media, entertainment, and creative enterprises through cloud transformation and operational modernization. Currently Chairperson of The Global Creative & Security Community and CISO for Google Cloud’s Media & Entertainment vertical, he blends hands-on architecture experience (Microsoft, Omnicom) with executive-level strategy to help teams adopt resilient, supportable systems. He’s known for pushing into fear and “failing fast,” coaching teams to build as if engineers won’t be there to hold the system together while cultivating relationships as if they will. Toby’s background ranges from founding and exiting a successful MSP to leading global infrastructure migrations and cloud rollouts, giving him a rare mix of startup grit and enterprise-scale delivery. Based in Longmont, Colorado, he brings a creative academic lens (BA in Cinema Studies) to technical problems, helping content creators prepare for AI and secure global distribution.
