Senior🎓
Top SchoolTom De Wildt is a Founding AI Engineer with eight years of hands-on experience designing, building, and scaling production AI systems and data platforms from zero to reliable products. He has led the technical design and delivery of an LLM-driven customer support automation platform handling 100k+ messages weekly, while owning data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and cost-sensitive operational trade-offs. Tom blends system design, code quality, and product-driven engineering, mentoring junior engineers and shipping both backend infrastructure and user-facing React tools. He’s comfortable across the stack—Python, AWS, Airflow, RDS and lightweight frontend work—and has a track record of turning ambiguous requirements into maintainable, experimentable solutions. Based in 's-Hertogenbosch, he pairs an MSc in Data Science & Entrepreneurship with a tinkerer’s curiosity for AI-assisted development, hardware, and practical ML evaluation frameworks.
