Top SchoolTom Hardy is a sustainability-driven technology leader and co-founder/CTO with 11 years of experience marrying environmental science and software/operations expertise to help startups and corporates transition toward cleaner, more measurable outcomes. He has founded and advised multiple ventures—from Pellinec Consulting to Elbow Beach—and mentors clean automotive tech through the Advanced Propulsion Centre, bringing investor-facing, product-ready guidance to early-stage developers. Tom’s background in oceanography and field science gives him a rare technical grounding in environmental systems, which he leverages to translate complex ecological requirements into pragmatic technology and business solutions. Equally comfortable in sysadmin and engineering roles, he looks for coding challenges while leading technical strategy, architecture and delivery. Based in the UK, he also serves as a board observer and senior environmental advisor, combining hands-on technical chops with governance and investment-savvy. An uncommon blend of marine science, project delivery and startup engineering makes him effective at turning sustainability intent into operational impact.
