Top SchoolTom Jordan is a Staff Cloud Engineer with over a decade of experience building cloud and DevOps solutions for healthcare and medical-device companies. He has a strong systems background in Java, C++, C#, JavaScript and scripting languages, and has repeatedly helped teams through acquisitions (Bigfoot→Abbott, Amicas→Merge, Emageon→Amicas), smoothing platform transitions and integrations. Tom has driven cloud engineering and DevOps practices at Bigfoot Biomedical and Abbott after multi-year roles at GE Healthcare and several imaging-focused firms, bringing deep domain knowledge in PACS and clinical systems. He blends hands-on engineering with build/release expertise—skills honed as a Buildmaster and senior developer—making him adept at production reliability and deployment automation. Based in Wisconsin, he pairs an electrical engineering foundation (BSEE) with practical supervisory management training, which supports his mix of technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Colleagues would note his steady delivery through M&A environments and an aptitude for translating legacy clinical software into modern cloud-native workflows.
