Senior🎓
Top SchoolTom Klaasen is a seasoned fractional CTO and engineering manager with 18 years of experience helping startups and scale-ups align business strategy with technology execution. Based in Antwerp, he combines product management, process optimization, and team building to launch new software products and guide growth-stage teams. He founded and scaled 10to1 to €1M revenue before a successful exit, and now consults and manages for entrepreneurial companies through SoftwareCaptains and the CTO Club he started. His background ranges from hands-on engineering and architecture to product ownership at Digitaal Vlaanderen, giving him a rare blend of technical depth and stakeholder-facing leadership. He thrives on turning ambiguous business goals into structured roadmaps and repeatable delivery processes that improve customer satisfaction. Colleagues value his pragmatic focus on strategy, people, and measurable outcomes rather than technology for its own sake.
