Top SchoolTom Targosz is a Senior Software Engineer based in Chicago with eight years of experience building and stabilizing high‑traffic mobile and backend systems. He’s driven measurable quality improvements—raising app crash‑free rates to 99.9% across hundreds of thousands of monthly sessions—by enforcing strict TypeScript standards, enhancing monitoring, and improving API resiliency. Tom has led major React Native redesigns, bridged complex native SDKs, and stood up Kotlin backends to unlock new business capabilities while simplifying build and release workflows. He’s comfortable both mentoring teams and running technical interviews, having hired and coached dozens of engineers. A longtime programmer who started with C++, he pairs technical depth with strong public‑speaking and client‑facing skills and plans to augment that blend with an MBA. Notably, he treats product metrics and analytics as engineering signals, using them to steer decisions that lift user ratings and business outcomes.
