Top SchoolTonghyun Kim is an experienced cloud-focused software engineer and technical leader with 11+ years at GMO Internet, currently serving as Executive Software Development. He blends deep hands-on expertise in Windows and container-based cloud systems with practical OpenStack and Hyper-V implementations, often tackling issues that require code-layer investigation rather than simple configuration tweaks. His work typically balances provisioning and business-logic implementation with component analysis, tooling, and build automation, and he frequently reviews and shapes other developers’ designs. Tonghyun’s background spans web hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, and payment systems, with a history of full-stack development across Java, .NET, Python, and scripting for daily automation. Based in the Greater Tokyo Area, he brings rare cross-domain fluency—frontend UI/UX, backend services, virtualization and infrastructure—that helps bridge product, operations, and developer teams. He also has a practical habit of customizing OpenStack APIs and automating builds, showing a preference for durable engineering solutions over quick fixes.
