Summary
🤩
RockstarToon Link is a researcher with eight years of software engineering experience, currently based at York University in Toronto while originally from Lima, Peru. He blends academic research with practical coding, favoring iterative, project-driven work—even when the goal is rapid experimentation over polish. Comfortable across the research-to-implementation spectrum, he brings a pragmatic mindset to prototyping and exploratory engineering. His GitHub ethos of “making projects that are very sub-par” signals a playful commitment to learning through doing and shipping imperfect but instructive artifacts. This approach makes him effective at quickly testing ideas, coaching others through prototypes, and turning research insights into demonstrable code.
