Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolTrevor Armand is a pragmatic full-stack software engineer with eight years of experience building web applications and backend systems, currently at AppFolio in Cambridge/Boston. He pairs a Computer Science and Economics degree from Northeastern with hands-on expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, Go, AWS, and production databases to deliver user-facing features and reliable services. Trevor has a track record of shipping end-to-end platforms—from an API proxy and large data-streaming work at Wayfair to an event-driven transactional email system at Berkshire Hathaway—while improving deployment pipelines and observability. Comfortable owning whole features, he moves between front-end React work and backend services, often reducing noise and failure modes in data pipelines. His background outside tech—running multi-site dock operations—reflects strong operational judgment, customer empathy, and the ability to make high-stakes decisions independently. He brings a blend of production-focused engineering, cross-team collaboration, and practical automation to accelerate shipping and reliability.
